The Library Board of Trustees
is the governing body of the Toccoa-Stephens County Public Library and is made up of six members. Board members
are appointed by the library's funding agency, the Stephens County Board of Commissioners, and serve under the regulations
governing public libraries as set forth by the state of Georgia. Each person appointed to serve on the Toccoa-Stephens County Library Board must be a resident of Stephens County. Members of the Toccoa-Stephens County
Library Board are appointed to represent Toccoa-Stephens County on the Northeast Georgia Regional Library Board.
The Board of Trustees meets the 4th Thursday of alternate
months at 1:30 p.m. at the library. The 2014 meeting dates are:

*The November meeting is held one week
earlier due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
